Who doesn't love Autumn?
Ever since I was little, the Fall was my favorite time of year! There is something in the air- so crisp and fresh- yes Ironically enough, its the season when everything is dying, but there is something beautiful and majestic about the fall that just makes me happy.
A couple reasons why I LOVE Autumn;
My birthday :)
Leaves changing colour, making fresh apple crisp
Pumpkin patches,
Apple picking
Corn Mazes
Halloween
and so much more!
Now what makes me LOVE the fall on top of it all is that my little babe will be born- this season cant get any better than that!

Summer has Come and Gone
Where did the Summer go? I was clearly busy as a bee since I didn't post ANYTHING all summer. It was filled with weddings, weddings, and more wedding! Not to mention birthday parties, family BBQ's, Pork Roasts, Baby showers (mostly mine:) Beach days, and much much more. Even though I was pregnant and we had the biggest heat wave of the century, I had the best summer this year!
hahah Love this- Matt made me go down into the basement when we had a tornado watch!

Farmers Market
Matt and I have been waiting for this time of year all winter. We LOVE the Farmers Market here in London. The reasons are as follows; a fun Saturday outing together, fresh organic produce, and here comes the best part, hot homemade Dutch Apple Fritters.
So last season we had a routine (yes we are boring). We would enter the market- Matt carried the list, the cash and pen. I would carry the bags and pick the fresh fruit and veggies and bargin with the vendors. We would go counter clockwise until we came full circle then end off with the Dutch Fritters.
This season is DIFFERENT. As soon as we entered I went straight to the old Dutch man and asked for 6 fritters. Matt was like" what the heck", that's not what we do!! I told him that I'm pregnant and absolutely cannot wait until the end for these. I do NOT have that much self-control anymore :)
So this time- I held the box of fritters and ate 3 as we walked and Matt had to do everything else. I know I will only get away with this while I'm pregnant so I'm taking full advantage.
We had fun and cant wait until next Saturday to go again.
Please please excuse my FATTNESS and lack of Makeup- wonder why im gaining so much weight haha!?

Wedding Shower Bliss
Last night , us "sisters/mother" threw Chloe a wedding shower. It was a great Turn out with lots of games, laughs and great food! I hosted it, which was fun. The New house is perfect for parties. My mother-in-law was taking the pictures all night with her camera so I don't have them yet. I do have however a couple pics of the Cake I made Chloe.
I love Showers!
Wedding and babies are a great way to celebrate with friends and Family, not to mention a time to pig out on delicious food :)

Flash Back from the Past..well 3yrs ago
Ok so this post is totally random but I came across some photos that I never actually saw before and a extremely funny story that I had no idea had been documented to prove the epicness of it. Lets go back almost three years ago, the last week before I got married. My Bestest Friend Emma (who was my maid of Honour) Flew down from Victoria B.C. Here I am at the air port picking her sorry butt up. Yes The dog was mine and was in training to be a service dog, However when people asked me about her at the airport I said I was picking up someone with special needs lol- K we were young girls back then and really silly.
Emma and I always have a blast when we are together (I will do a solo post about her at a later date) We really are Kindred Spirits
While she was down she threw me a bachelorette party where yes she got to embarrass me and I loved every moment of it.
We went to the spa together, got hair extensions together, nails did- shanaynay style...for the wedding of course! We even made matt demo emmas extension.
We had a blast! I loved having my two favorite people together- Matt and Emma (Ironically enough she is now married to a Matt)
oh and Autumn of course (tear)
I was Happy. So here's where things get good. Matt and I had our wedding at the Delta Armouries. Apart of that you get a complimentary room- usually the Royal Suit. However the Royal Suit was prebooked a year in advance from another couple who was getting married that same day. I was devastated.
Two days before the wedding we are at the rehearsal and our wedding planner comes to us and informs us that for confidential reasons the couple wont be needing the Royal suit and that it was available for us on our wedding night. WOW- I was thrilled. I had to show Emma right away and asked the planner if she could take Matt , Emma and myself up to the room so she could see it. The Planner had an appointment but gave us the key and said "I can trust you". Just bring back the key to the front dest.
Once we entered the glorious room with high vol ted ceilings, bay windows, real wooden fireplace, hot tub right beside the bed and best part, raised King size bed with princess drapes surrounding it, I thought I was in heaven.
I turned to Emma and said "isn't this great?" I then did something I would later regret. I ran up the four step to the bed, leaped/twirled to jump on the spacious bed. As I did that the curtains wrapped around me and the whole drapery on one side , nuts and bolts including the part of the ceiling/drywall came tumbling down on me.
DEVI STATION! We all froze for a moment and my heart stopped for a second. Emma dropped to the ground bursting in laughter, matt raised his hands to his face and I cried.
Ok we need to fix this. Bridezilla kicked in and there was no way I was loosing this room after everything.
So we went at it. I started by going on matts shoulders but I was still to short, so Emma who is 6" went on Matt- that was funny. I brushed the drywall under the bed. and BAM temporary fix.
Ok this is the part Im not proud of and later repented of. We then returned the keys and told the front desk that it looked as though acouple screws were loose on the ceiling and that I would like it fix before my wedding night. AHHHH isnt that horrible. Like I said, Iv repented.
So what do you think the first thing we did was when we entered our honeymoon suit that wedding night?? yup, ran to the bed and looked up at the ceiling. It was FIXED. we than sighed and chuckled.
The reason Im posting this, is because I had NO IDEA that emma capture some pics of that moment, well I had forgotten. We were sure that no one would believe us of the catostrophicness of that event. Good memories to go down in history I guess :).

LOTTSA Ladies
"Lottsa Ladies" is our dental-office-nickname. Dr. Lott is our Dentist/boss, and we are his ladies :) I wanted to post a blog about where I work because I've been thinking a lot about when I go on Mat leave. As excited as I am not to have to work for a whole year - and be with my little Nut everyday - I cant help but feel saddened that I won't be spending my days with these wonderful ladies and yes, Dr. Lott too.
Let me tell you, WE HAVE FUN! Yes, everyone works REALLY hard every single day but we also try to make it great. For example;
Every time it's someone's birthday, Dr. Lott or Dr. Ociepa will buy the whole office lunch from any place of the Birthday girl's choosing.
We have a Charity Committee where I am the President. Ok truthfully I've been slacking a bit- but hey i've been sick and I'm pregnant- that's my free ticket, right?
We have an Activities Committee where we do things outside the office. Some of the activities we have done are;
A cake decorating course, gingerbread making course, bowling, some of us girls have been know to catch a movie here and there or have a girls night at one of our houses with food and wine (I drink juice).
Our Office has been planning a Dental Service trip to Liberia Africa. We were supposed to go this May but I went ahead and got knocked up. Dr. Lott may still go with his wife.
We have some other weekend conventions or seminars in the works- possibly in Chicago or Las Vegas. FUN!
Did I mention that our Office offers INVISALIGN (clear braces)-I am currently in the middle of my case right now. I love seeing my teeth straight. Along with that is In-House-Whitening called ZOOM , amongst many other things.
Our Office is great and the Dentists are a pleasure to work with and give great care to their patients. Ok Ok now it sounds like I'm selling it lol. I am just fortunate to work in a place that I love.
Here are some pics of us having a good time as a staff.
